Charles E. Woodford was 22 years old, living at 230 North Addison Street. He died Wednesday at 2314 West McCarty Street when a car on which he was working fell on him. Born in Beech Grove, he had lived in Indianapolis since infancy and had been employed as a packer and maintenance man for Nettie’s Home Preserving Company. He was a member of Parkway Assembly of God church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vivian J. Woodford; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Woodford, Sr. of Indianapolis, and six brothers, Frederick, William, John Jr., James, Samuel and Robert Woodford, all of Indianapolis.
