Bob, Bobby, Robert, Woodford was born to John and Hilda Woodford while living at 2020 S. Belmont, Indianapolis. He went to Public School 46 then in the first grade, moved to School 50. He attended George Washington High School where he was the starting gaurd for the Washington Continentals. He received a basketball scholarship. Bob, "Woody" to his college friends and basketball team, started college at Indiana Universith, Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI), in 1975. There he met the love-of-his-life, Jamie Ann White. They married on Saturday, the fourteenth day of May, Nineteen hundred and seventy-seven at half past two o'clock. At least, that's what the invitation said... see below. The service was held at Parc-Way Assembly of God Church, 8500 East Thompson Road, Indianapolis, Indiana.
He graduated with his undergraduate degree from IUPUI and went to work. For many years he was employed by Roadway Trucking, first as a Manager then as a senipr sales executive. Both he and Jamie are now retired and enjoying their kids and grandkids.
He is the tenth son born to mom and dad, has two daughters, Sarah Elaine and Salena Marie.
